Virtamate Turn Off VR Hand With Button

I have a scene that starts in a way that having a left VR hand helps. But there is a later part of the scene where turning off the left VR hand is better. Is there a way to toggle the left VR hand with a button?

The guide has example settings. You don't have to do everything in it. For toggling the hand, it's in the image that says "Thumb Stick". The setting is called "Toggle Hand" and you can set it on any button you like. This only works if you're using SteamVR.
