Maybe keep it as an option... It's funny that administrator protects system files but user files are vulnerable for any action of any process. System can be reinstalled within an hour with all settings. Files gathered sometimes through years are not protected at all.

Exactly why the built-in plugin system limits all file modifications to the VaM install folder. We can't have that same protection for addons made using other methods.
