Does anyone know if it is possible to display VAM on a 3D monitor in 3D with glasses?

Hi

Just to let you know I got it working on my LG 27" 3d monitor.

Its a bit fiddily to get going.

Basics:
1. You need steamvr installed and working
2. You need to get VRto3d working - which will display eg a SBS output when steamvr is running on your monitor.
Here is a link for the application:

Some tips that I learnt the hard way:
1. First make sure you get VRto3d working ie you can definately see a SBS image or TAB image. I dont even have to have the VR headset connected - for me it works if I run steamvr. You will need to edit the script to get it working correctly (see the github)
2. When you run VAM you can see the scene in stereoscopic 3d but you cant do anything and none of the mouse controls or keys work. The key thing is that there is another windows you can alt-tab to - have this in front and then the mouse curser will work in this wiindow. If you press control-F8 when this window is in front then it will lock (see github for instructions).
3. This window can now be resized so that you can see the 3d image behind. I usually move this window to left hand side and have the VAM scene towards the right hand side. Now if you keep your mouse movements in this extra window you can operate VAM in realtime eg zoom in and out, up and down etc.
4. Its fiddily to operate VAM initially but once you get the VAM user interface menu to work inside this window - you can select scenes and use all VAm menus in realtime with the SBS (or tab or interlaced) screen in view - amazing stereoscopic 3d!
5. On my LG 3d monitor I preferred interlaced mode so I also installed Reshade with plugin 3dtoelse.fx (see github) and this let me run VAM with reshade and also output interlaced mode (remember to enable stereoscopic in3dtoelse.fx reshade settings and change the other settings to get stereosopic working).
6. You can also use shortcuts eg control-F3 and Control-F4 and control F5 and Control-f6 to control separation and convergence in realtime for VAM.

Although I have a vr headset I find it annoying to use for more than 20 minutes as its a bit uncomfortable - now I can use Virt-u-Mate in full stereoscopic and in realtime.

Enjoy :)
