The latest versions of Hub-hosted favorited plugins are now automatically downloaded when UXPlus starts up (i.e. at VAM start if it's in the user default session plugins preset). The configuration UI for Alternate Plugins List has these options:

This update introduces script presets for saving, loading and setting user defaults for individual scripts. The Alternate Plugins List module of UXPlus is now finalized and UXPlus is out of beta! ?

There is a problem with the 1.22.0.12 version and your plugin, you can select a plugin in vam/custom/script directory, but if you reload it, it removes the plugin and gives an error message, it works fine for plugins in the addonpackage directory. And this bug doesn't happen on 1.22.0.3.
EDIT: actually it seems to happen even in addonpackage if it's not a packaged script, so loading .cs directly. This is the error message: tried to load another plugin from outside of a package at path AddonPackages/Lesko/PluginName/Plugin.cs which is no longer allowed
