Question Using VirtualDesktop over SteamVR

So i am using SteamVR right now, but its kinda yanky.
If i buy VirtualDesktop, as far as i understand, it gets installed on my Meta Quest 3. Do i also need to install VaM on my VR Headset to make it work?
The reason i am asking: first of all, 500gb is pretty low if i want to have a good VAM library of content. secondly, i dont want Meta to have access to the lewd games im playing (i know they say they dont do it for legal reason, but i dont trust them).

Yes you will need to install VD on your headset and PC.

So i bought VD. I installed it on my VR Headset. I installed VD Streamer App.
When i use VAM in VR Mode, i only see it through a window in a VR environment. I cant embody anything in VAM or make VAM my VR Environment...how do i fix that?
