Hello there,

I'm importing some clothes in the cloth creator, and the problem I have is that since they have multiple materials, whenever I set the sim texture of one material, the sim texture of another material gets deactivated. Is there any way around this or that's just a limitation of the tool?

Thanks!

In the Clothing Creator, near the bottom right, there is two check boxes. One is "Sim Enabled", and the other is "Use Per Material Sim Textures." Both need to be checked when creating a piece of clothing with multiple Materials.

Although, before that you need to go into each Material (the pinkish purple categories on the left) and go to the Texture category at the top right and press Create Sim template Texture. Then press Open Folder in Window Explorer. A window should pop up. Edit the texture for your desired Simulation effect (Red being tight to skin, and blue being loose.) Save it. Then go back in VaM at the bottom of the same window, there is a Sim Texture category that is only visible while using the Clothing Creator. Click Select, choose the clothing Sim.

You need to do this for each material. Then when you check off "Sim Enabled" and "Use Per Material Sim Textures," They will behave as intended.

You only want to use the "Select Sim Texture..." on the main creator panel, if you have imported something where all the materials are combined as one.

That worked perfectly. Thank you very much! :)
