Unity - How to break apart prefabs to export?

I have a house prefab and I would like to have doors and chairs be their own object in VaM so they can be movable if need be. However, when I try to export them using MacGruber's AssetBundle tool it pulls in all the other mats and textures. It says that it auto pulls them in because of parenting.
I tried the Clear Parent button under GameObject but that didn't seem to do anything other than move whatever item from the Hierarchy.

What do I need to do to be able to have something like a door or a chair be exportable to VaM without trying to pull all the other mats and such?

Thanks
