VaM 1.x TV screen browser gives me 'html5: video file not found' error

Why do i get the error html5: video file not found when I try to play any video other than Youtube using the TV screen url browser

Because the browser is kind of obsolete and the urls you are probably using are not serving html/JS working with the browser (which youtube is probably doing).

No. If you're aiming to show URLs, we don't have the ability to build a new browser in.
Your alternative is to convert videos and read them directly, or use direct videos URLs hosted somewhere.
