Is it possible to create a trigger to stop/start a scene animation? I looked around for answers and at other peoples scenes to no avail. I'm assuming it's not possible.

Core Control > MotionAnimationMaster > Start/Stop Playback
I know this is an old post, but I want to ask the same question, what do you mean when you say MotionAnimationMaster, is this a plugin. Thankyou.

MotionAnimationMaster is the Receiver.
Sorry if you know some of this stuff already but here's a step by step.
For example in a scene with baked animation such as mocap, if you make a Trigger UI Button, in the Button Trigger tab, Add Click Action. Open up settings. You will see the Receiver Atom (Set that to "Core Control"), Receiver (Set that to "MotionAnimationMaster") and Receiver Target (Set that to "StartPlayback").

The original question was about VaM built-in Scene Animation system.

My answer was a trigger (action) to start or stop that playback (scene animation).
MotionAnimationMaster is just the name of that receiver (inside CoreControl).

Not plugin related at all...
