Super new to Timeline. Been MIA for a few years. I'm trying to use preset poses as keyframes to animate in between, but when I set the new pose on the next frame, the last frame goes bananas. I can tell it's still trying to play, but the bones get confused about where they are. I've tried in fresh scenes over and over, but still get the same thing. I've only been using hands, head, hip, chest, and feet bones. I think I'm missing something obvious, and its driving me crazy. I know I'm not the first newbie to encounter this, but I'm not finding many related posts. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: I've narrowed my issue down to rotation. When I load in the next pose on the next keyframe, the pose is loaded facing the wrong direction. Turning collision off, the next frame follows without issue, but it's facing the wrong way. Likewise, when I rotate the next frame the correct direction, the previous pose is now facing the wrong direction. So the issue would lie in the root rotation? How do I rotate the person without messing with the roots rotation or the pose? Or rather, is there a way to set the root to zero in its current position and rotation?

I think if the starting pose has the Control node (root) set, then subsequent poses in the same animation should not be saved as presets with the root node saved.
