System.OutOfMemoryException: Out of memory (vam timeline)

I get this error when I try to import an animation in VAM Timeline.
separately, I can't export some big animations from VAM Timeline either (it "ghost saves" -- take the screenshot and everything, thinking it saved)

I'm not sure if it's my machine, or vam, or vam timeline itself. Is there a way to allocate more? Is there an length limit to timeline? This particular animation is 500 seconds

The limit on the scene's JSON file is around 500 MB. You may want to reduce keyframes (Timeline tool) for importing/exporting mocap data to be well below the 500 MB mark.
