As you may have noticed, I'm just trying to bring some boxer shorts that I modeled years ago to VAM ...
first there were problems with the texture and the UVs (DAZ breaks them)

now I'm getting strange acquaintances (gaps)
between the individual parts of the boxer shorts.

I don't understand that in DAZ and Maya it looks great :-(

might someone look at it and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I have attached Duf ud OBJ

Your front and back are not welded, and I think that is the reason.
A different question, all your edges are marked as sharp, but that doesn't make sense to me.

yes ... sorry kind of obvious
...
the edges were just no problem ... I just have a texture problem again, which I don't understand

What kind of texture problem?
black texture if I Export from DAZ to VAM ...i need to transfare to a figure!?

I am still practicing, from DAZ to VAM things don't really fit anymore.
has just cost me a few hours. maybe it is also due to my DAZ version 4.6Pro

It is a rather old version of DS. But I would think it might work. But any reason for not upgradering to a new version?
What I do I model towards the base G2 character, import it into an empty scene in DS, and save it as a scene directly. Then when imported into VAM I check that the clothing is working as intended, and if then I save it. Then I start with the textures, and save them in the cloth folder in VAM and edit the file to match the textures.
