I think it would be a massive usability improvement if the search results page when searching for resources would look like when you click on the resources button. You know, with the two columns of resources, big icon & little thumbnails of the images the author included.
As it is, we have these squashed rows, and cropped and squashed images and a whole lot of empty space to the right of each result. You have to click on every image to get a good look at it. Not great when you have pages and pages of results. The skinny rows format for results makes sense when searching through forums where you're interested in the text, but the bread and butter of VaM is visual. I think the search results pages for resources ought to reflect that. That's all! Thanks for considering.
