Hello,

I'm posting this here because I believe this does qualify as a "bug," though maybe not in the traditional sense.

As of uploading an update to my Specialist Biorigs resource this evening, I noticed a change, due to the new var health/scanner feature.

My resource is a quality-of-life resource designed to be used in native vam, with native vam features. Thus, I make an effort to keep only native vam content in the scenes.

I'm not sure what is causing Vam Base to be listed as a dependency- whether its default Lexi's hair by NoStage3, the 3PointLight setup by MeshedVR, or something along those lines, but Vam Base is listed as a dependency.

Doing this causes a notification that the content is not Hub Hosted (this did not happen before). The result of this is that ironically, the very most conservative of practices in resource posting can cause a creator's resource to be less visible, as opposed to more, when using the Hub in the vam game itself.

I did check, and my content is not visible immediately, as the default filter in game is "Hub and Dependencies."

I don't believe this should be the intended behavior. I would appreciate it if you guys would check it out. In my QoL resources, I try to shave things down really tightly, and it's frustrating to see those practices cause the resource to be filtered.

Thank you guys very much,
AV

A dependency that is part of the base vam install should not cause your content to fail the hub-hosted test. Could you provide me with the specific resource you were having trouble with?

After reviewing your file, I discovered that your file is using vamX.Base as a dependency. This is not the base VaM install, but is actually the paid content called vamX, which is where I believe we were having a miscommunication. Your Var cannot be hub hosted if it uses vamX as a dependency, because that is paid content and cannot be downloaded from the Hub. You will need to rebuild your resource using a copy of VaM that does not rely on vamX before it can be "hub-hosted".

I see that you even included vamX in your description:
Dependency List:
NoStage3.Hair_Long_Upswept_Top_Bun.latest By: NoStage3 License: CC BY
vamX.Base.1 By: vamX License: PC Link: www.patreon.com/vamX

In general, I'm not sure we even allow users to use vamX as a dependency, since it is paid content. Hope that helps to clarify things.
