Question Plugin to make object in scene invisible

Is there a plugin or a way to make a part of a Custom Unity Asset invisible?

For example, I have a CUA scene with premade furniture and, of course, I can't move any objects inside the room. I would like to change the type of chair, but I'm unable to because another chair already exist in that place.

Any advice is welcome!
