There is a Unity asset that works brilliantly for controlling a humanoid in VR called Humanoid Control by PasserVR. The avatar walks really well underneath the head control and can walk up inclines, steps ect. You can drop in a Daz character and it automatically rigs it for the controller. Maybe VAM should have a look at this to allow better movement of the characters. I've used it for a few years and it works well. Just a thought.
