So i am attempting to get my vive trackers functioning in VaM
I can get the waist and feet trackers working fine.
I am aware that VaM does not itself work with knee and elbow trackers
MeshedVR commented on a similar forum post about what ones DO work.
"I should mention VaM doesn't care about the specific role other than need to match one of the above. They can be used anywhere and bound to anything in-game."

However, on the list of trackers that can work are:
Meaning these all should work.
In SteamVR, i can set my trackers to emulate being any of them, See here:
Essentially, i should be able to bind my elbow and knee trackers to four of them and select in Embody's tracking section what node of the person i want to bind it to and manage the offsets if i must.
My problems are:
Virt-a-mate is not even displaying the additional trackers set to the compatible options that MeshedVR mentioned in that previous forum post.
Embody then doesn't display them as options
Additionally, setting one of the 3 that do work to any of the 5 unused potential ones that i can use just simply causes the working tracker to vanish in VaM completely.
I was testing this because binding the feet trackers to my knees instead would have improved their movement if i had the feet have a position and rotation link to the knees but as i said, it just causes the tracker to not show up at all.
I don't know if its a problem with VaM, Embody or steamVR but i've tried everything that i thought might work for all 3 and i'm at a loss.
AcidBubble also commented this on a review on Embody, though i have no idea what they mean by the "node mode" but maybe it has something to with the position and rotation modes for the controls? regardless, i don't know what to change on it to make it work
