Thanks, but I miss the most important part for me (as I know how to blend / liquify etc in Photoshop): How to get the 3D model's skin in Blender - where you paint the skin onto the model - to unwrap into 3 parts head, torso, limbs? Haven't touched Blender for years, I am sorry.

Yeah, I found a "Texture-Conversion-Using-Blender_v2.15" in the hub, lost the link, but that was very helpful and finally I managed the skins from DAZ G8->Blender->VAM G2 with ease. Next step will be painting real skins directly onto G2 in Blender like this tutorial here.
Steep learning curve, but helpful community (y)!
