Yes, sure, this works, but that's not what subscenes actually do. You can parent two or more objects to any atom, it could be an Empty (that's what I use)
 
Your're right HAL9001, i just took the subscene because its invisibe. Didn't really know about the Empty Atom.
Just checked it out and i have to say, VAM Models react really different to it.
When i move them with an Empty Atom, they wobbeling extrem, with the subscene atom, they stay stiff, which is more comfortable for me.

I didn't think about this, but i will ad a note to this tutorial, that this is not an example for how to use subscenes but just a means to an end.
To be honest, I don't know anything about subscenes, easy understanding step by step tutorials are hardly to be found.
Thats why i do this tutorials, even if its not always the way it originally was ment to and some pros have to shake theyre Heads ;)
