• Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

Is this another morph merger?
It can merge morphs, but it can also generate a morph from *any* difference between the skin mesh's stored vertex positions and current vertex positions, which is something that other morph mergers cannot do. For example, you can indent the soft physics mesh with an object and save that as a morph.

Oh.
But I think that deformation with physical effects will often make the shape of the model worse.

Hey,dude, can you do me a favor? Develop a plugin that can import vam hair from outside?
There is an ImportFromMaya method in the internal code of the hair part of the VaM1 software. But obviously, this method has never been called.
Can you help me write such a plugin? Import the external modeled hair directly into vam.
The built-in hair editor of vam is very troublesome for me to use.

FYI this thread is just about Morph Extractor, anything besides that is off topic :]

I'm not going to develop a hair import plugin - sorry, just don't have the interest or the time to look into that. You could post a request to the forum though, or talk to Skynet who has done work on CUA hair that includes basic physics

Could you develop a plugin that makes me good enough and creative enough to use this plugin to it's fullest potential?
