We haven't had a ban in a while, and this is pretty cut and dry but we're making a post for transparency and education.

We had a new user that joined about 3 weeks ago. Our system indicated potential matches with some previously banned users (who were banned for both pirating PC content by other creators, and also for creating underage content), but we decided to monitor rather than reject the user registration.

We rejected their first post, which was paid, on the grounds that their account was too new.

They proceeded to post a few free items over the next couple weeks.

Their most recent post looked a little underage, so we decided to follow up on our notes about this user.

Our investigation determined that the paid post which we had initially rejected was still live on their Patreon, and was an exact rip of paid content by @prestigitis . Further investigation showed one of this user's free resources was both a rip of paid @RenVR content, and also an exact copy of content by the previously banned user that our system had flagged as a potential match in the first place.

After comparing this user's account and the previously banned user's account, enough glaring similarities existed to recommend a ban, especially with the addition of the two paid license violations.

In order not to break any scenes, we unpublished the free content so that it is still available through the in-game dependency downloader. Unfortunately we had to delete the "free" rip of RenVR's content, but we didn't see any indications that this content was being used as a dependency in anyone's scenes yet.
