This looks like a shader issue.
Bug: Unsightly weird lightened line running along the topology maybe where the softbody joins onto the glutes.
Where: Every single model in vam, tested across fresh installs.
To reproduce: Load a default model and open the legs and check. Leave them standing up and just move the legs out a bit, put a light under them and move behind, you will see it.

I noticed this a few years ago and its still here, it makes close up screenshots annoying especially if somebody works hard on a nice texture set only to have this happen. The line goes into the anus and is forced across all female models.

If there was some way to fix this please let me know but I have not been able to get rid of it, the screenshots were taken on the default (reset look) vam girl but its on all other models too.

After looking a bit further its possible its where the softbody joins onto the mesh along the center edge being stretched or something.

Not a shader issue. genesis 2 UV map is offset by 1 or 2 pixel. It also happen in the back, but it very less noticeable. If you try to fix it in blender, nothing work perfect, unless you fix UV. But UV map can't be import in VAM.

Also this area have low tension UVMAP, witch mean it doesn't have a lot of space for pixel detail, if you spread the legs, you have a large area with little resolution of pixel.
In Red you have area that are too compress, in blue to large, grey is ok.

Yeah I actually ended up downloading the original 3feetwolf one that vam uses and we use to make morphs, sending it to maya and looking showed the area has a significant amount of pinching right along that line because its such a sharp angle of change. I mean its modelling 101. I confirmed it by adding in a standard edge loop along the area and it was gone, and seeing as there's no way now to update it for vam its there forever which is really sad.
