Is there a simple way of managing addon content?
I've built up quite a lot over the past few years and want to remove some that I don't use. Besides going through each scenes, looks, clothing, hair etc, is there any other way of doing this that also looks at dependencies, or identifies and unused/ redundant addons?

Using the built in Package Manager can be a bit clunky.. Any advice or solutions to best practice when it comes to this?
Thanks

Hi @lararage,
this is a very good, but unfortunately not an easy question.
A tool like this was asked for several times and ther are many threads, but till now,
there is IMHO still not a satisfactory answer.
Meanwhile, there are some approaches and tools, but nothing I would suggest completely without doubsts and with a quiet conscience.
Here are some links to let you decide for yourselve.

...

For all those approaches: make sure you have made a copy of all your important stuff!

GitHub - feelfar/varManager: varManager

I've been using this for quite a while to manage Var bloat. It's certainly not perfect, but it works for me. Let's hope that MeshedVR integrates a better content management aspect in 2.0 and doesn't just fawn over new softtech in the models.
