VamMoose submitted a new resource:

Lighten Up - Session / Scene Plugin for performance improving lighting presets

Hello everyone! VAMMoose here!🤗

I am releasing my very first VAM Plugin. I made this because I wanted to learn how to program plugins in VAM and thought of a typical use case that I and maybe you might have use for!

As we all know, VAM looks amazing with it's realistic lighting and physics, but we also know that it is also a resource HOG, especially in VR!

I built this plugin inspired by GiveMeFPS by...

Hi, very useful plugin. Is it possible to add an option to just reduce shadow quality on all the available light sources. Most of the time I can get away with just reducing the quality instead of disabling them. Also having the ability to choose and affect individual light sources would be great as well. Regards.

Thank you for this plugin, it has saved me a TON of time and frustration. Especially helpful when opening scenes with looks, as usually creators tend to overdo it with lights.

Only issue I've noticed is that some light sources, like for example Torches in the RoofTop Fisting scenes, don't get recognized by the plug in. Still saves a ton of time by taking care of the other lights though.

Hello, lurker here!

So, I'm actually trying to use your plugin for an "out of the box" manner.. I've got a scene where I easily switch between subscene maps (environments) but I haven't found a way to trigger changes in the scene lighting settings within the same scene. Your plugin actually does that! I can just trigger it to load new global illum settings etc and voila. Problem is... I don't want all the lights to go off when I press the FPS++ button xD I want all the lights on, just the switch to a new "scene lighting" setup.

If it's not to much to ask; Would it be possible to add one more button, that works the same as the "2 Unity Ambient Lighting FPS++" button, but doesn't turn off the lights and shadows? I'm unable to find a similar plugin or setup to actually trigger changes in the scene lighting settings.

Thanks in advance and keep up the great work! 5/5 stars already for it's intended function, 11/5 stars if it has that extra button ;)
