Leap motion with quest 2 experience?

Is it recommended since ALVR can also support finger tracking?
Can it switch to quest 2 controllers easily? Does it need a mount to be attached to the headset? How is the grab and pinch experience?
I cannot figure out how to enable grab and pinch function through ALVR, considering buying one leap motion controller.
