Latest Steam VR issues anyone?

Unfortunately SteamVR just updates itself without asking and there are no roll-backs. My SteamVR was updated in the early hours of this morning and now I have issues with it freezing when I go back to desktop to turn on OBS - no issues in game. Very strange. I run steam VR through Virtual desktop to my quest 2
