Question I don't have a plugins tab under misc in the UI

So I watched a Youtube to see how to launch a Session Plugin and the YT video showed the plugins tab on the left in the UI:

But when I am in a scene I only have navigation, user prefs and file (as below):

Is there something I'm missing to not have the plugins tabs?

Click add plugin then you will get a menu to search for the plugin/s you will need.

Watch your first pic. When you add the plugin then click select file. There are 2 places to search from. One on the right and one on the top left you can search by creator. You can search other ways through the folder structure, you'll figure that out also it's no hassle.

You need to be in Edit mode, but you are in Play mode according to your screenshot.
