As DJ mentioned VAM binaries are targeted for Windows only.
My suggestion is to use Mac Bootcamp to enable dual boot on your system.
After that install Windows and VAM on top of it.
Also as mentioned you do not need to transfer VAM to Quest 3. Quest 3 will connect to your PC/MAC and that way will access VAM.
The learning curve is somewhat steep, but I believe everyone here agrees that learning VAM will be extremely rewarding.
