Question How to Z-Axis with mouse?

I can do X and Y axis easy, just click and hold whatever and move the mouse.

I can twist and turn using Shift or Ctrl.

But how do i push out or pull in with the mouse?

For example:

If I possess an actor, I can grab his hand. I can use my mouse to slap with that hand from left to right or slap down and up. I can use Ctrl and Shift to orientate the hand. But I can't pull the hand back towards the possessed character and then punch out with the hand.

Is this possible w/ mouse and keyboard?
