how to use leap motion with Embody (quest controllers won't go away)

Hey i just got a leap motion sensor and wanted to try it in Embody, the tracking does work(i see the fingers moving with i embody a character) but when i put down my controllers they won't go away...they stay anchored to the character. what am i missing?
