  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.

I'll tell you my problem briefly - I already have a paid scene uploaded to the hub with a paid license. I made a cut-down version of it and want to upload it to the hub, but when I try to save the scene with a free license - it tells me that my free scene refers to a paid scene (I know that you can simply delete the paid license from the meta file by editing it - but I don't know if this is correct... I need your advice on this issue

It's not correct deleting the meta.json info because you're just hiding the problem, not removing it.
Free Hub resources cannot make use of PC licensed content, so you need to see where that dependency is coming from and remove or find a alternative. Ashauryn shared a plugin that analyses scenes or VARs and pinpoint what comes referenced from where, so try it out.

Yes, this plugin showed me what to remove to remove the dependency. A VERY useful program. :) :) :)
