Question How to load a saved look or preset in another scene?

I have saved looks and presets of models from scenes, and when I try to replace a model in another scene with these looks or presets I do not see what I saved. When I select existing in the appearance tab I see a ton of folders and looks under flattened but none of the ones I saved.

What am I doing wrong?

Have you saved them as a look or as an appearance?
Try doing all (saving and loading) only in the appearance tab as appearances. Looks are legacy stuff.

Ditto. First off, make sure you are not saving legacy presets. Always save Appearance, Hair, and Clothing presets. These are the current formats. They should show up when you first click on Select Existing under those categories. They are not in AddonPackages, so don't click on Flattened.

In Appearance select flattened. Also make sure the little "favourite" tick box is not ticked when viewing the folders ?
