Hey Vammers,

I’m looking for a way to animate facial expressions in VAM, preferably with the baked in “scene animation” mocap feature, or alternatively with Timeline.

while I understand Timeline is supposed to be better, with tons more features I just can’t figure Out even the very basics without gettting stumped, plus I just don’t have the time required to really sit down and learn it.

As for the baked in “scene animation” feature where most mocaps are made, I’ve learned to use this quite successfully, so I can record and animate a models head, body, arms, etc.

My main issue is I have no idea how to capture facial expressions and morphs with this feature, and I’m under the impression that it works.

so far I’ve started a pre-recorded mocap, selected the girls head, started recording again, then opened female Morphs and used the sliders on the facial morphs.
Problem is when I’m done recording it never saves the morph/facial changes, when replayed she still has that deadpan expressionless stare.

what am I doing wrong?
