This game is really confusing, I wish the guides were more concise. I couldnt find anywhere how to even play the launch the game and play it optimally in VR but I kinda finally figured stuff by myself like needing to launch the game through VR, not through your PC.

1. How do you properly play the game? From what I understand is you possess head/align of the character, then possess the hands? Or is there a better way?

2. How do you deal with hands feeling out of place when you possess them? like they're much lower in game than in real life so I have to end up dipping my hands into the ground in real life to possess them. How do I properly align my hands?

3. Why is my game shaking violently? Even the menus are just shaking nonstop like its freaking out

4. How are you supposed to "launch" the game? I've been going to the VAM folder and lauching VAM.exe. I also see there's vam (desktop) and vam (openVR). Should I be using vam.exe only? Also I noticed it launches through steam VR. I couldn't get VR mode to work because nowhere in the wiki said steamVR was needed. Why isnt this stuff mentioned in the wiki. Which launcher am i supposed to use

Pretty cool game but wish there was more information and tutorials

  1. There's no proper way, besides, this is not a game but a simulator.
  2. Adjust your VR settings depending on the possession method you're using (built-in or Embody)
  3. Maybe you had too much coffee?
  4. VAM. exe is fine, the others too. SteamVR is not mandatory but then you need to setup a alternative OpenVR substitute to be able to use VaM in VR
There's tons of information and tutorials. Start here:
Then you can also check the Guides section in resources and the wiki.
