Hi,

After a while, I’ve ended up with 20,000 vars. I’ve been using Var Browser to load things faster, but here’s my issue: I have two appearance presets I always use, and they don’t depend on any look-only scenes. By “look-only scenes,” I mean those scenes that are basically just a single character/look, meant for users to save as appearance presets for other scenes. The problem is, I have thousands of them cluttering my library and bloating my SSD. I’d really like to delete them all. I don’t mind if some scenes end up loading with the default look because of missing dependencies. I just want a way to filter and remove those look-only scenes.

As far as I know, BrowserAssist can’t distinguish a regular scene (with Timeline, poses, environment, etc.) from those look-only scenes. Any solutions besides deleting them manually? Also I tried to load BrowserAssist with all my vars and the game crashed every single time.

Thank you.

Sometimes, you just have to wade in there with the hip boots on and clean out the mess. Scenes that are just looks usually only have the character's name in them, like Lucy, or Barbie. Action scenes usually have longer names, like Toxic Couple, or Build-a-Bot. Create a folder that Vam does not scan, like 000Holding. Move all the vars that only have a character name into that folder. If something causes issues with one of the scenes you like, put that one back. It can be tedious, but you've been hoarding vars. You should try to get it down to maybe 5,000. If you can do that, you won't need Var Browser.
