I wanted to suggest the creation of a FAQ document for the new VaM2. Here are some starter questions for anyone who wants to take a try at answering:

Q. What are the minimum system requirements for VaM2?
Q. Generally speaking, how is VaM2 different or better than the original VaM?
Q. Is there an online video somewhere that shows the features of VaM2 and demonstrates the improvements from the original VaM?
Q. Will original VaM assets (scenes, looks, plugins, etc.) work the same in VaM2?
Q. Will there be custom assets (scenes, looks, plugins, etc.) that will only work in VaM2 and where can we find these?

These should be a good start for a FAQ. Feel free to add more.

  • What are the minimum system requirements for VaM2?
    • No info for now as VAM 2 has quite some devs to go before knowing the bare minimum requirements

  • Generally speaking, how is VaM2 different or better than the original VaM?
    • Same as above. But overall, VAM 2 tends to improve things made and learned during VAM 1.X dev. Better UX, better rendering engine, better physics engine, better access for developers and creators to get creative

  • Is there an online video somewhere that shows the features of VaM2 and demonstrates the improvements from the original VaM?
    • Again, VAM 2 is not finished. On top of that, it's probably not really interesting to do a direct comparison as VAM gets better over time with community content.

  • Will original VaM assets (scenes, looks, plugins, etc.) work the same in VaM2?
    • Original assets from VAM 1.X cannot be used in VAM 2. A full body morph would need to be converted then ported to VAM 2 just like any standard full body morph. Any asset (like a CUA) will need to be ported to Unity 6 standards (HDRP)

  • Will there be custom assets (scenes, looks, plugins, etc.) that will only work in VaM2 and where can we find these?
    • VAM 2 is a unique game, and assets are made for and ONLY compatible with VAM 2. A hub for VAM 2 will be available when it's ready.

You already started one, perhaps the FAQ can be placed here?

Will it be possible to export from DAZ a G8 character (created and modified the normal way with morph sliders) and/or a DAZ scene and thereafter somehow import it to VaM 2? If so, when is this feature planned to be released? The Example-scenes in VaM2 Beta 1.0 are - from my noob perspective - just some magical JSON-files with characteristics wrapped in mystery.
