I make scenes by possessing the character and recording the upper body through my Quest2 with the character seated.
I try to animate in sync with the speech track.
Is there a way to smooth out the motion capture or edit it? Sometimes it'll be a bit choppy or too exaggerated in places. I'm not sure how to edit the mocap.
At the moment I just record on the VAM timeline. I haven't quite figured out how to use acidbubbles timeline well enough.

I'm pretty new to VAM, but I'd try two things:

1st: Reduce the keyframes of your mocap (More -> Reduce Keyframes)
2nd: edit the keyframes manually that seem "off"

I can't think of any better way right now.

Oh nice. I didn't know you could reduce frames..
In another thread MacGruber talked about recording the mocap and then importing to timeline to edit.
If the animation is in Timeline how do I trigger it to start playing when the scene starts? Do I have to go to the scene animation and set a trigger?
