Hey, just a quick note : I was having trouble to get the same result for the hair as you have in the screenshots, even when directly loading your scene. I found out it's because you have to set "Curve Density" "Hair Multiplier" and "Iterations" (all sliders that affect GPU usage) to the max value in the Physics tab of both hair items. (somehow those values are not saved within the scene? or maybe a vam per-user setting affects this somewhere?)

For me it's the only way I got the hair to look like yours.
