3 passes?? Surely that's overkill... you are applying the DLSS5 three times over each frame. No wonder it looks so overdone.

RTX4090 I can confirm it works in VR with uncle burritos BepinEX plugin I cant detect any artifacts issues or bugs so far. Curretly working on the settings I can get at least 30fps but thats by decreasing the render scale in vam and then upscaling with dlssr which is not quite perfect because it affects the hair but still a good result, in desktop I get high 50s to low 60s there or there abouts . People talk about the settings the settings maybe someone can tell me what you can actually switch off thats gonna result in some kind of setup that makes DLSSR 5 worth the trade off in VR.

1) It's worth checking your GPU temps with CPU-Z I noticed mine is higher than usually it is in vam averaging 81 but once touching 89 and occasionally 85 in GPU-Z 68 with it off but using max settings natively in VAM
2) the effect is technically amazing it really improves the appeal of some, but not all models the effect on the default model for example technically is good but if anything shes less appealing with dlss 5 added while i have some others they look much more appealing with dlss 5 on.

Funciona perfecto y es una pasada, diría que estamos ante VAM2 directamente, aunque es necesaria una gráfica potente para moverlo. Yo tengo 5090.

I always try not to overuse DLSS5 - NR, I want to keep my characters original as possible, but I only want to have realistic lighting + ambient occlusion to create more "depth". I don't like how Neural Rendering also tries to generate make-up on female characters. They always end up with heavy lipstick for example. I wish we had more possibilities to control Neural rendering and what we might like the generate/change. Like I said, I just want to use it only to improve lighting, create more realistic feel in materials, and have a better ambient occlusion. The problem with Rasterization is also the light bleeding, and the "glow" on skins. Neural Rendering kinda fix this. Just want to use it as a tool to compensate where VaM lacks in, not to change my characters to a more realistic character.

Managed to make it work in VAM1 using a working DLSS upscaler mod that someone made in arca.live virtamate channel and had to use a modified reshade addon to get dlss5 working, peformance gets cut in half which is expected but the quality is insane, im not really good at lighting and this is the best example i tried to give a difference. Ran it at 2560x1440 DLAA,
