just curious if there's a way to do this. you can do it for person atoms but not for CUAs. It would make it easier to move the objects around if you could choose from where to rotate and pivot them.
Only way I know to do this is to parent it to an empty atom. Put the empty where you want the pivot point to be, then parent the CUA to it. A similar problem exists in Daz. I couldn't tell you how many swords and knives I've seen that do not rotate about the handle, or the long axis.
