I know that VaM2 is being actively developed and I am glad it is. But VaM1 has serious issues with its mode of displaying. It's not fullscreen only, it's a borderless windowed mode but it acts strangely like it's fullscreen too.
I mean, normally in a game that is in fullscreen mode it minimizes to fullscreen. Sometimes a bug happens that when interacting with other windows of the system the game is maximized but in the background while you use the current program window. It's usually a pretty glitchy and annoying experience, so switching to windowed borderless fixes the problem, as it makes the game window stay properly minimized while using other programs on the PC.
With VaM this doesn't happen, if you use any other application in windowed mode, VaM appears in the background in fullscreen. Here's an example:
As you can see, I have a the windows explorer in windowed mode open and VaM is in full screen in the background. It doesn't matter if I press Win + D to minimise absolutely everything, if I open any program in windowed mode, VaM appears in the background in full screen again. This is horrible for multitasking, it's annoying.
So, a hotfix should be released to fix this now, and an exclusive fullscreen mode and windowed borderless mode should be properly implemented.
I take this opportunity to ask, is there a plugin that fixes this? Anyway, this is something that should be officially fixed for the game.
