Question controls always showing

Under the Vam menu where 'play' and 'edit' live, there is always a bright white image showing controls. left and right controller, all controls listed with arrows pointing to which button they go with. I somehow accidentally turned it on and cannot find where you go to turn it off. Does anyone know?

If this only shows in VR mode check your user preferences (VR).

It is only in VR, but any idea what it might be called? i don't see anything that seems to be the right option.

There's a button about "controls" that only shows in on a VR session. I don't know by heart the name, just look around.
