Change size of unityasset?

Is there a way to change the scale of a unity asset, ie. particles? When I load a particle asset and change the scale, nothing happens.
 
If the scale slider doesn't work, then whoever made the assetbundle did not set it up in such a way that it could be re-scaled. Nothing you can do about that.
