I've had a quest 3 for awhile and, like the unaware person I am, I just realized that you can just use your hands instead of the controllers. And it appears to map to your finger movement pretty well.

So now I'm curious. Is it possible to record/motion capture finger movements in VAM using just the quest 3?

I don't suppose you, or anyone else, knows how enable hand tracking? I can't seem to get it to work.
I use ALVR, first make sure hand tracking is enabled in your Quest 3 or Quest 2, then you simply connect to VAM using ALVR and put your controllers down and thats it, hand tracking (and finger tracking) starts.
I think you can bump controllers twice together and it will start too.
And I think VD supports hand tracking as well, but I am not sure

Ah Okay. I've been using quest link. Which appears to not support hand tracking. Thank you for the info! I'll have to look into it more.
