I want to edit a scene I've downloaded without saving another one locally.
Can I do that?

Thanks

Solution
If the downloaded scene is inside a var, you can't save the scene from Vam directly into the var. You could repackage the var as your own, but you still end up having to save a copy of the scene locally. Otherwise, you are editing the scene file manually outside of Vam, which risks breaking the whole thing. It's far simpler to just save a copy of the scene locally. Why are you trying to avoid doing this?

Yes, if you overwrite it with the same name.

But then the basic scene is gone and you have to reinstall the var if you want back to the old.
