Question Can someone please explain the "Downloads" numbers for paid resources?

I just posted my first paid resource early this morning. The actual file is only available on Patreon. In that time, I got 1 paid member. And only that 1 person can see the post besides myself. However, as of right now it says I have 12 downloads. I watched that number climb up all morning.... But still, only 1 patron. What's up with that?
I can understand maybe there being 4 or 5 downloads. One or 2 for myself, on my 2 installations of VaM, one for my Patron, and 1 or 2 for the 2 people I gave it to so they could look for bugs & test it out. Where are the others coming from?
