To be more specific,
My end goal is to attach or "link" an atom to a person atom in a way that it stays stationary/locked in place during joint controller movement (anim or just yanking them around) but also adjusts position relative to the size of a new appearance preset.
My immediate use case would be to use a dildo for a footjob timeline anim (the one from orient express).
Thing is that the dildo needs to be in the exact right spot to work with the anim. Once it's lined up all is good until I change appearance presets, after which the dildo is off 99% of the time leading to a LENGTHY readjustment period as I try and find the new sweet spot. I know i could just use "bodynet" by TBD but id rather my appearances not all be the same size.
Best I got so far is:
1. using the "attach to vertex" plugin by stopper to attach an empty(1) to the foot via skin
2. physics linking another empty(2) to the one attached to the foot but in the proper position for the footjob anim
3. locking all position and rotation axis in the "move" tab of empty#2
4. Use "alignhelper" by noone77521 to realign dildo to empty#2 as needed
This gets the job mostly done but empty#2 won't move on appearance change unless an axis gets unlocked which would more than likely destroy any and all alignment. Alignment would certainly get destroyed if empty#2 isnt in the exact same place it was which with idle anim/lifelike movement plugins is a complete pipe dream.
