Question Can CUA Root Control be detached the same way as person root control?

Can someone help me discover if it is possible to detach the root control of a CUA and then reattach it to a different part of the said CUA? We can already do this with person atoms but can not figure out a way of doing the same with other none person atoms.

I don't think you can directly, but you can add an empty atom and parent the cua to that, which will do the same thing.

Thanks for the reply. Someone on discord led me to a thread that said exactly this and it does work well.
