Question Best way to trim an animation in Timeline?

I'm not a creator, it's just that sometimes I download a scene with a long and elaborate animation but what I really like is only a part of it, so I'd like to eliminate the rest and just have a short loop of my favorite part.
I tried to watch some Timeline tutorials but they are obviously focused on creating the animation rather than trimming it down, so I couldn't find anything to help me.

Easiest and quickest way is to use "Split at scrubber position" and delete parts you don't need
