Getting answers on the forum depend a lot on the questions asked, especially when the terms are subjective or too broad.
I have a Pico 4 Ultra, cheaper than the mentioned Pimax. The pimax has superior resolution and OLED display, but I would not have considered it because other factors, one being wireless for example, is a lot more important
to me than the resolution numbers and display type alone. If you just want the highest number on something, like resolution, then all you need is to look up the specs of the devices within the price range.and choose from there.
I used to have a wired headset with OLED lenses (fresnel type), and after moving to wireless I'm not going back. 99.9% of my time in VR is for VAM, and even though I'm mostly stationary on bed.not being tied with a cable gives me a bemter immersion and be concerned about pulling or damaging a cable.
For a VR headset, an holistic view is what you should consider to understand your uses are like and then lead from that. Some spec points to check:
FOV, lens type, wired/wireless, software support/subscription, passthrough cameras, IPD, others
Any recommendation I would give is for the device to be wireless, which is totally subjective but truthful for users like myself.
